Demiflux

A gender identity with two components: one part is stable, and another part fluctuates in intensity. For example, a demigirlflux person stably experiences partial womanhood while the remainder of their gender varies between agender and other states. Combines the "partial" structure of demigender with the "intensity variation" of genderflux.

Latin demi- (half) + flux (flowing, changing). Coined in online non-binary communities in the mid-2010s.

• "Demiflux is indistinguishable from genderflux." In genderflux the entire gender fluctuates; in demiflux a stable core persists while only part of the experience varies. The stable component is the distinguishing feature.
