Breast forms and bra padding are for trans women, transfeminine and non-binary people, cross-dressers and anyone who wants a fuller chest. There is no right size and no right reason. Choose what feels like you.
Breast forms or bra padding?
- Breast forms (silicone breast prostheses) are made of platinum silicone, soft and skin-like to the touch. They sit gently against your skin and stay in place, so you do not have to keep adjusting them.
- Bra padding comes as soft triangular foam inserts or as silicone inserts. They are lighter and give a smaller lift, and slip into a bra, a bikini top or a swimsuit.
Teardrop or triangle?
Teardrop forms give a natural slope from the top of your chest. Triangle forms have more room inside, so they suit people who already have some breast volume.
Which size?
As a guide for breast forms:
- 600 g (A to B): bust under 85 cm
- 800 g (B to C): bust around 85 cm
- 1000 g (C to D): bust around 90 cm
- 1200 g (D to E): bust over 100 cm
Smaller and larger sizes exist too. Your height matters: if you are shorter than 170 cm, we suggest not going above 1000 g; if you are taller, not below 800 g. Above all, choose what feels right for you.
What to wear them in
A well-fitting bra holds them in place. For everyday wear, sport and the beach, a bra top, bikini top or swimsuit with built-in pockets keeps your forms in place while you move. Heavier forms are more comfortable with wider shoulder straps.
Swimming
You can swim with your forms: wear them in a swimsuit or bikini with pockets for breast forms. Afterwards, rinse them in lukewarm water to wash off chlorine or sea water, and pat them dry with a soft towel.
Care
- Silicone forms and silicone inserts: wash with lukewarm water and a small drop of mild soap. Pat dry or let them air dry.
- Foam padding: hand wash in lukewarm water with a small drop of mild soap. Do not machine wash.
- Storage: keep your forms in a protective case, such as the original box, so they keep their shape.
- Handle with care: long nails and sharp-edged rings can tear the silicone.
Your skin
Put your forms on over clean, dry skin. If your skin gets red, itchy or sore, give it a break, and see a pharmacist or doctor if it does not settle.
